We expect approximately 485 students to be at Ox Ridge this year. Our kindergartners will be the first to experience full-day kindergarten, and we look forward to transitioning them and their parents to our school. We continue to refine our curriculum, attempting always to meet the needs of each of our students to the greatest extent possible. This year, we will introduce revisions to the social studies curriculum, and enhance our assessment of students in language arts and mathematics. SmartBoards will be installed in our kindergartens, completing this particular technology initiative for each of our classrooms. Our PTO enrichment focus will be on math this year, and we anticipate a number of exciting activities for students and families.
We are fortunate, in education, to have the opportunity to begin anew each year, to reflect on what we have done well, and to enhance and improve what we do. I look forward to working with our exceptional staff, our talented parents, and our bright and eager students, to make this school year the best it can be!
